  I was one of the original students here, I personally disliked it. a minor incident in a normal school would be a major in this school. coming into this school I was an A honor roll student, when I left after my freshman year my GPA was very low. part of this was my fault because I gave up on my self. this school provides so much work the student has no social time and it crushes a lot of the students. the teachers would not communicate with each other. in one week I would have 4 projects, 5 assignment's and two test. that was very unacceptable and unprofessional of the teachers and staff. there was no excuse for there only being a hand full of teachers. The students at the school are very divided, however the school will preach ECHS is one big family. the students always joked about death, suicide and many unbearable topics. Many of the students who chose to leave are becoming very successful with out this school. I went back to my home campus and I was succeeding, I was once again A honor roll student I was even on varsity sports. Another thing about the school is a lot of empty promises the school had. the school started out explaining that students would be on ctc campus there whole academic career and now serve at what used to be smith middle school, that may not be the schools fault, how ever the students where promised to be implemented into ctc classes once they became juniors, that to my knowledge was a failed idea. another idea was the school was supposed to help students with being stress free, so the school created clubs, which the students almost never got to do. another thing is the school preaches that they get rid of the unnecessary credits but if you are kicked out or chooses to leave you have to make up those credits. the students who stay in the school will get an associates degree but will have to take extra classes towards there degree in order to have a associates for the students degree. the school has good intentions that are not being successful. high highly recommend that you should stay away and not consider this school. as I mentioned before the kids who are leaving are still becoming successful. I am supposed to be a junior now, but I am graduated and heading of to a military academy. so for people reading this there is other ways to be successful than go to this school. I beg you please don't go here unless you plan on seeing a counselor.

  Terrible school administration. Most of the teachers are great. The Principal and both vice principals are awful. They make their own campus policies that are not in line with the district and refuse to change or adjust them when given reasons why. Twice I have had to argue with their school policies, the second led to me withdrawing my daughter permanently.

  Been here for just about every possible reason (inprocessing, IDs, clearing) for the most part you can't rely on the posted signs to get to where you need to go, many things have been moved, some to different buildings. However there are usually two soldiers at the main desk who can point you in the right direction. Most of the staff are helpful but on occasion you'll get a stereotypical DA civilian who clearly hates his/her life and wants to make you misserable as well.

  The DEERS section are terrible on customer service. Very quickly to turn people around without taking the time to educate and share knowledge. Most important, mislead Soldiers and their families places instead of giving a helping hand. They are lazy. The worst place in all Army post .
